Job summary

Midsouth Aggregates, a CRH company, seeks a Director of Technical Services to lead quality, laboratory, and technical services across 12 aggregate operations in the southeastern U.S. You will establish standards, drive continuous improvement, and partner with operations to enhance performance and customer outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership of a 10–12 person team, regulatory compliance, and development of scalable systems and processes to support growth and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geology, materials science, construction management, engineering technology, or related technical field.
• Extensive knowledge of aggregate quality standards and testing procedures.
• Experience with laboratory quality management systems.
• Strong analytical and statistical process control skills.
• Proficiency with LIMS and MS Office; strong reporting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality, laboratory, and technical services across 12 locations.
• Develop long-term vision for technical services and quality excellence.
• Establish standards, procedures, and performance expectations across sites.
• Drive continuous improvement for compliance, consistency, and performance.
• Build scalable technical services capabilities and reporting tools.
• Lead and develop a team of 10–12 professionals.
• Provide technical support to customers and industry stakeholders.
