Job summary

CRH Americas Materials Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations for the Southeast Idaho & Wyoming sub-region. This role directs and coordinates production of aggregate products and third-party crushing, ensuring safety, compliance, planning, and quality control at all sites.

You will oversee eight managers and a team of about 50, manage production schedules, budgets, and P&L, and drive improvements in safety, quality and efficiency while aligning with customers and regulators.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in the aggregate/production industry.
• Ability to lead teams across multiple sites and manage safety initiatives.
• Knowledge of OSHA/MSHA, DEQ, EPA and local regulatory requirements.
• Self-directed, results-oriented leadership with minimal guidance.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates production of aggregate products and third-party crushing.
• Oversees safety, compliance, source planning, and quality control across locations.
• Sets and manages production schedules and priorities; reviews reports for issues.
• Responsible for P&L and financial performance across aggregate sites.
• Develops and implements maintenance and operating procedures to improve efficiency.
• Manages hiring, training, and development of staff; travels to locations.
