Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking an Area Manager, Technical Services (Aggregates) to oversee the delivery of technical support and services within a designated area. The role requires strong technical knowledge in aggregates production and processing, leadership, and collaboration across departments and with external stakeholders.

The position also emphasizes quality control, data-driven decisions, and continuous improvement to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in aggregates operations or related heavy industry.
Experience in construction materials design and production is highly preferred.
PE registration preferred; B.S. degree in a related field is favored.

Responsibilities

Maintain compliance of QC laboratories and calibrate test equipment.
Conduct independent QC sampling, testing, and audits at plants and sales yards.
Assist Business Units with belt sampling programs for crushers and screens; audit compliance.
Participate in plant optimization efforts and interpret testing data to improve efficiency.
Train and develop Process Technicians and Operations Managers on the product quality database.
