The Hertz Corporation seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to perform accounting research on complex transactions—debt offerings, securitizations, derivatives, and mergers—and advise management on proper US GAAP treatment. The role covers Bermuda insurance accounting, month-end close, regulatory reporting, and coordination with auditors and senior management.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in accounting and CPA required.
• 5-8 years of related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and SEC regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Consult with internal business partners on complex transactions to ensure proper accounting and reporting treatment.
• Review and inform management on new accounting and regulatory standards (SEC, FASB, IASB).
• Assist with review of external financial reporting documents (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, S-1, 8-K, Prospectus).
• Coordinate with external financial reporting to compile and validate information for 10-Q and 10-K filings.
• Research technical accounting matters and author accounting memos/research papers.
• Oversee month-end/quarter-end reconciliations and journal entries for timely close.
