Job summary

Hyundai Capital America (HCA) is seeking a Sr. Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager to drive complex accounting research, policy development, and robust financial reporting under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.

You will collaborate with Accounting & Tax leadership and cross-functional partners, overseeing quarterly and annual statements and external audits. The role requires 8+ years in technical accounting roles, a CPA, and strong analytical and communication skills to influence leadership

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical accounting, financial reporting, audit, or related roles.
• Experience with US GAAP and IFRS and complex accounting positions.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technical accounting research and policy development.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures.
• Coordinate external audits and respond to auditor requests.
• Oversee month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accounting policies and documentation for compliance.
