Google is seeking a Program Director to lead the enterprise-wide People Operations (POps) system transformation. You will define and manage the POps Engineering strategic roadmap and ensure Core and Corp Engineering programs are delivered on time.

You’ll partner with centralized product and engineering leadership, manage the POps OKRs, and prioritize AI-first initiatives that drive platform modernization and stronger international scalability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in program management, with a focus on HR system implementations.
  • Experience using AI first strategy across HR systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the overall program roadmap, budget, and resource plan for the POps system transformation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, business unit stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Lead and motivate a large, cross-functional program team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, proactively addressing potential roadblocks.

Minimum qualifications

  • Experience in the technology or internet industry.

About The Job

As the Program Director you will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of Google's enterprise-wide People Operations (POps) system transformation program. In this role, you will partner closely with the newly centralized product function and engineering leadership to define and manage the POps Engineering strategic roadmap. You will ensure all programs within Core and Corp Engineering are delivered on time. You'll also manage the POps OKRs, prioritizing initiatives that drive AI-first agentification and platform modernization.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $281000 - $391000 (USD) + 30% bonus target + equity + benefits
