Job summary

Google is seeking a Program Director to lead the enterprise-wide People Operations (POps) system transformation. You will partner with product and engineering leaders to define and manage the POps Engineering roadmap, ensuring on-time delivery across Core and Corp Engineering and aligning OKRs to AI-first initiatives.

As Google’s IT organization, you’ll help deliver tools and experiences for Googlers, driving platform modernization and AI-enabled agentification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of program management experience with HR system implementations.
• Experience applying AI-first strategy across HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the overall POps system transformation program roadmap, budget, and resource plan.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Lead a large cross-functional program team and drive a high-performance culture.

About the job:

As the Program Director you will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of Google's enterprise-wide People Operations (POps) system transformation program. In this role, you will partner closely with the newly centralized product function and engineering leadership to define and manage the POps Engineering strategic roadmap. You will ensure all programs within Core and Corp Engineering are delivered on time. You'll also manage the POps OKRs, prioritizing initiatives that drive AI-first agentification and platform modernization.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $281000 - $391000 (USD) + 30% bonus target + equity + benefits
