Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Director of Technical Program Management to lead large-scale programs that deliver business impact and build scalable platforms. You will guide cross-functional teams, shape TPM discipline, and ensure architectural alignment across portfolios in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

We value 7+ years in distributed computing/SOA, AWS experience, agile delivery, and strong communication with senior leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
MBA or Master's in a related technical field preferred.
MBA or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred.
7+ years of experience managing technical programs.
Experience with distributed computing or SOA (design/build).
3+ years of Agile delivery and building scalable products.
Experience guiding TPM maturity and program governance.

Responsibilities

Contribute to TPM / Delivery strategy and establish scalable operating mechanisms.
Drive program roadmap development anchored in business objectives and technical solutions.
Lead cross-platform investment planning and ensure architectural alignment.
Serve as executive escalation point for program risks and tradeoffs.
Ensure measurable outcomes and delivery accountability across engineering teams.
