Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. seeks a Director, Technical Accounting to lead US GAAP reporting for the Vacation Ownership segment, drive technical accounting research, and shape positions for strategic transactions.

You will manage month-end close, lease accounting, intercompany activities, and foreign currency translations, while directing staff and coordinating with audit teams. A senior finance professional with strong leadership and SOX experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Experience managing lease accounting and related disclosures.
• Proven leadership of accounting teams and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead US GAAP financial reporting and external SEC filings for Vacation Ownership.
• Oversee month-end/quarter-end close, leases, intercompany, and foreign currency translations.
• Direct external audit process and liaise with auditors regularly.
• Develop accounting positions and research technical accounting topics.
• Provide training and guidance to staff and liaise with stakeholders across the company.
• Ensure SOX compliance and high-quality financial reporting.
