Job summary

JCW, on behalf of a leading alternative investment firm, seeks a Director to oversee technical accounting policy and projects. Hybrid in New York, reporting to Chief Accounting Officer, responsible for creating new policies and implementing standards across the department.

Key duties include ensuring correct adoption of accounting policies, leading finance re-engineering and M&A initiatives, staying current with guidance, and serving as the technical accounting SME across the organization.

Qualifications

• CPA is required.
• 12+ years of technical accounting experience.
• Familiarity with SEC regulations.
