Job summary

JLL seeks a Director, Technology Labs CEM Standards and Assurance Leader to own the global Tech Labs O&M standard and assurance program. You will build playbooks, governance, and field-ready procedures for labs, cleanrooms, and critical environments across a worldwide portfolio.

You will drive change management, training content, and incident analysis with cross-functional teams, ensuring practical deployment and ongoing compliance across accounts.

Qualifications

• Significant experience (15+ years) in critical environment, tech lab, engineering, or standards/compliance leadership.
• Proven ability to write and maintain operational standards or SOPs used by field technicians.
• Experience designing, running, or supporting an assurance, audit, or standards-implementation program (JCAP or equivalent).
• Ability to work across many accounts and reconcile a global standard with local variation.
• Excellent technical writing and stakeholder communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with technology lab environments and critical infrastructure.
• Cross-functional coordination in a large, matrixed organization.
• Corporate real estate or engineering operations background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Tech Labs O&M playbook for labs, cleanrooms, and critical environments.
• Provide and maintain tech lab documentation, SOPs, guidance, and training materials.
• Conduct structured due-diligence engagements to capture current operating models and identify gaps.
• Align playbook with industry standards and ensure compliance.
• Finalize, approve, and release the operating standard and keep it current.
• Own the Tech Labs assurance program, extending JCAP with lab-specific criteria.
• Collaborate with Vertical Engineering Lead to ensure practical deployment.
• Engage with engineering SMEs and account teams to ground standards in real conditions.
• Create training content for Tech Labs Operations and Maintenance and Assurance programs.
• Train teams on playbook updates and JCAP questions; manage change management.
• Support incident management, root cause analysis, and trend reporting to inform updates.
• Coordinate with Engineering Operations, Quality & Compliance, HSSE for regulatory testing protocols.
• Assist with client-facing consultations on lab performance and reliability.
