Job summary

Kinneberg Management Group seeks a Director of Insights & Analytics to build the function inside the Sales team. You will own Target-focused insights across client portfolio, emphasizing Circana/IRI data and category analysis that inform retailer decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of deep, hands-on experience with syndicated retail data
• Extensive experience with IRI/Circana and other Insights resources and tools
• Direct experience in an Insights role for CPG brands or vendor reps
• Thought leader with ability to translate data into recommendations
• Proven experience building and defining an Insights function
• Travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead the Target-focused insights for client engagements using Circana/IRI data, POS/panel data and consumer trends
• Partner with Sales to identify performance opportunities by category, region and item
• Pull and analyze data, market trends, and performance to guide assortment and strategy decisions
• Create client-ready insights presentations and business reviews for Target buyers and vendor partners
• Own performance recaps and insights summaries with key actions and results
• Evaluate and implement insights tools and data subscriptions balancing capability and cost
• Identify and apply AI tools to increase speed and depth of analysis
• Monitor AI capabilities of supplier partners to keep KMG competitive
• Establish processes, templates, and best practices for the new insights function
