Job summary

Utilidata is seeking an in-house Head of Talent Acquisition to own and build the function from the ground up, covering software, hardware, and firmware roles. You’ll partner with executives and managers to shape headcount, strategy, and talent architecture while implementing AI-enabled tools for scalable growth.

You’ll lead end-to-end recruiting across the company, build the TA infrastructure, and decide when to bring in external resources.

Qualifications

8+ years in full lifecycle recruiting with ownership of a TA function.
Experience leading searches for technical talent: software/hardware/firmware.
Experience building TA and People Ops processes, not just executing.
Experience recruiting in a high-growth or scaling company.
Ability to partner with senior leaders (director/VP+) with trust.
Strong execution, collaboration and clear communication.

Responsibilities

Run full lifecycle recruitment for technical and non-technical roles.
Build in-house TA infrastructure: sourcing strategy, ATS, tooling, interview process.
Decide when to bring in external recruiting resources and manage that relationship.
Act as a go-to thought partner for hiring managers and senior leaders.
Bring pipeline forecasting, time-to-fill, and quality-of-hire discipline.
Keep the VP, People & Talent informed on strategy and risks.
Partner on headcount planning tied to milestones and growth targets.
Right-size job architecture and compensation philosophy as we scale.
Identify and implement AI-enabled tools to improve talent experience.
Collaborate with managers on learning and development initiatives.
