Job summary

Engine is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition Operations to build the infrastructure that powers our hiring. You will own SOPs, AI roadmap, capacity planning, and the TA tech stack to enable a fast, scalable process.

As a systems-thinker, you will lead TA partners, ensure data cleanliness, and drive quarterly OKRs while collaborating with Finance, People Ops, and Engineering. This role sits at the intersection of technology, process design, and hiring strategy, with a focus on candidate

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 4 years in TA Operations.
• Expert-level knowledge of ATS, HRIS, and hiring technology.
• Systems-first mindset with documentation and SOPs.
• Analytical rigor and data-driven improvements.
• Experience launching programs like referrals, university hiring, or CRM initiatives.
• Future-focused on AI and automation in HR Tech.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and implement end-to-end SOPs for the hiring lifecycle.
• Build rigorous capacity vs. demand planning to meet headcount goals.
• Own TA tool ecosystem and vendor relationships.
• Develop and execute an AI in Ops roadmap.
• Lead high-impact TA programs like Referrals and Talent Masters.
• Streamline interview coordination and own SLAs/templates.
• Own reporting and analytics for candidate experience and health.
