Job summary

Utilidata is seeking an in-house talent acquisition leader to own full lifecycle recruiting across software, hardware and firmware, building the function from the ground up.

You’ll partner with managers and VPs on headcount planning, job architecture, and HR tech, while driving forecasting and strong candidate experiences in a fast-growth, AI-enabled environment. This role requires peer-level collaboration and ~20% travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience with ownership of a TA function
• Experience leading searches for technical talent: software, hardware, or firmware
• Experience building TA and People Operations processes, not just executing on them
• Experience in high-growth or scaling companies
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders (director/VP) and earn trust
• Strong execution orientation and clear communication
• Experience implementing or evaluating HR technology systems (ATS/HRIS/AI tools)
• AI-first mindset with appropriate human judgment
• Travel up to 20% of time

Responsibilities

• Run full lifecycle recruitment for technical and non-technical roles from intake to close
• Build in-house TA infrastructure: sourcing, ATS, interview processes, employer brand
• Decide when to bring in external recruiting resources and manage that relationship
• Advise hiring managers on role scoping, strategy, and candidate assessment
• Introduce pipeline forecasting, time-to-fill, and quality-of-hire disciplines
• Keep leadership informed on strategy and day-to-day decisions
• Partner on headcount planning tied to milestones
• Align job architecture and compensation with existing framework before market
• Identify and implement tech to improve talent experience, bias toward AI tools
• Collaborate on learning and development from onboarding to upskilling
