Job summary

Whelen Engineering, Inc. seeks a Manager, Talent Management to build and lead our integrated talent management capability, including learning and development, workforce planning, and succession and performance management.

The role will own enterprise talent programs and partner with HR leaders to deliver measurable business outcomes. The Manager will operationalize our job architecture, drive internal mobility and career development, and ensure talent initiatives align with Whelen’s strategic

Qualifications

5+ years progressive experience in talent management, Learning & Development, organizational development, or related HR disciplines.
Experience leading or overseeing L&D functions, enterprise learning portfolios, and career development.
Strong ability to translate business needs into talent and development priorities.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute enterprise talent strategy aligned with Whelen’s business priorities.
Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, learning, performance, succession, and internal mobility.
Oversee performance management framework and its integration with development and succession.
Design and govern succession planning for leadership and critical roles.
Operate learning programs, including Whelen University, and measure impact on business outcomes.
Collaborate with HR Partners to deliver enterprise talent programs and governance.
