Job summary

Aspen Valley Health is seeking a Director Perioperative Services to lead the Ambulatory Care Administration department. You will oversee Surgery, PACU, Endoscopy and more, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure high‑quality patient care.

The role includes budgeting, staff leadership, and a commitment to 24‑hour department oversight. Colorado RN with BSN and 5+ years in perioperative management preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Unrestricted RN license in Colorado (or ability to obtain before start date).
• BLS may be obtained upon hire.
• ACLS certification is required.
• At least five years of perioperative management experience.
• At least five years as an OR RN.

Responsibilities

• Directs care and services for Perioperative Services (Surgery, PACU, SDS, PAT, Sterile Processing, Endoscopy and Anesthesia Services).
• Coordinates, communicates and collaborates with surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure quality patient care.
• Plans, organizes, leads and coaches perioperative staff on a 24-hour basis and manages annual department budgeting and variance analysis.
