Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking an experienced perioperative administrator to oversee all areas of the Perioperative Services Division on a 24/7 basis, including pre-op, OR, PACU, GI Lab, and central services. You will lead policy development, quality programs, and the division's budgeting and staffing decisions.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field, with a Master’s preferred, and at least 5 years of progressive management experience within healthcare.
Responsible for assuming administrative responsibility for all areas/functions of the Perioperative Services Division on a 24/7 basis including, but not limited to, pre-procedure testing, Pre-Op, Main OR, Ambulatory and Minor Surgery, PACU, GI Lab, Sterile Processing, and Central Service. Develops policies and procedures as well as the quality improvement programs for areas of responsibility. Develops the capital and operating budgets for Perioperative Services Division. Ensures areas of responsibility are appropriately staffed, including interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale.
