Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a global consulting firm seeking a Senior Director, Supply Chain – Distribution & Logistics to lead transformation initiatives across U.S. locations.

The role focuses on network design, inventory optimization, and transportation/warehousing improvements in a private equity performance improvement context. You will gain exposure to multi‑client programs, manage project teams, and interact with senior client executives to drive measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years combined consulting and industry experience.
• Deep expertise in distribution and logistics network optimization.
• Experience leading or modeling supply chains with software tools (e.g., Llamasoft).
• Willingness to travel as required by projects.

Responsibilities

• Assess supply chain network design and costs across facilities.
• Develop strategies and high-level models to meet growth and financial goals.
• Lead 3PL sourcing events, negotiations, and contracting.
• Improve inventory planning to optimize service levels and working capital.
• Create transformation plans for transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
