Spotify seeks a Director to lead the strategic design of its subscription portfolio, shaping tiers, add-ons, bundles, and the broader pricing ecosystem. You will define how the portfolio works today and evolve it for growth.

You will combine commercial intuition, consumer understanding, and data signals to guide decisions, working with senior leaders to align on architecture and roadmap.

This role is based in New York or Stockholm, with hybrid work and global impact across millions of listeners.

Qualifications

• Experience with pricing, packaging, monetization, or subscription models.
• Ability to reason across an entire packaging-and-pricing system, not just a single product.
• Strong intuition for consumer behavior and willingness to pay signals.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of Spotify’s subscription portfolio, including tiers, add-ons, and bundles.
• Set the price ladder logic and regional pricing across markets.
• Lead insights with Consumer Insights and Analytics to inform portfolio strategy.
• Partner with GTM Enablement and cross-functional teams to design tests informed by research.
• Build business cases with sizing, contribution logic, and long-term impact.
• Drive alignment with Product, Finance, Pricing, Legal, Licensing, and leadership on architecture decisions.
• Influence the product roadmap based on willingness-to-pay and portfolio strategy.
• Plan multi-year evolution of the portfolio and sequencing of moves.
