Germanna Community College seeks a Director of Student Engagement and Success to provide leadership across Student Life, Testing Services, the Academic Center of Excellence, and Career and Transfer Services. The role reports to the Dean of Students and leads department supervisors to deliver accessible, student-centered programs and services.

The Director ensures alignment with divisional priorities, supports assessment, and drives initiatives to promote engagement, persistence, and success

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, education, leadership, counseling, or related field; equivalent combination accepted.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience in higher education, student affairs, student success, or related field.
• At least three (3) years supervising professional staff, leading teams.

• Provide portfolio-level oversight for Student Life and Leadership, Testing Services, Academic Center of Excellence, and Career and Transfer Services.
• Establish goals, expectations, and accountability while empowering department supervisors.
• Coach and support department leaders in staff development and resource management.
• Foster collaboration and shared accountability across the portfolio.
• Monitor service utilization and outcomes to inform improvements.
