Job summary

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College, part of the State of Georgia, seeks a Director of Student Success (BHI) to lead division work plans, budgets, and cross-department coordination across campuses. The role emphasizes policy development, leadership of staff, and collaboration with senior TCSG teams to improve student outcomes.

The position includes responsibilities for vendor negotiations, contract oversight, and coordination of New Student Orientation while supporting underrepresented groups

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in educational leadership, vocational administration, counseling, or a closely related field with 3 years of experience in a secondary, postsecondary or higher education environment or an Associate’s degree with 5 years of such experience.
• Equivalency of education and experience may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the division work plan, goals, budgets and projects for Student Success.
• Coordinate activities with other divisions, departments and external agencies and develop division policies.
• Provide leadership to division personnel and advise senior staff.
• Develop specifications for equipment, systems or services and manage proposals and contracts.
• Monitor projects for progress, compliance and quality, and report findings.
