The University of Texas at San Antonio invites applications for the Director of the Student Involvement Center. This role provides broad administrative oversight, managing budget, student organizations, leadership development, and large campus programs.

You will supervise staff and ensure policy compliance while developing strategic plans with Student Affairs. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least seven years of related experience, with preferred advanced degrees and campus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Seven years of related work experience.
• Ability to maintain security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per Texas EO-GA-48.
• Master’s in Higher Education or related field (preferred).
• Six years professional experience in Student Affairs (preferred).
• Four years of full-time supervision experience (preferred).
• Experience working with college students (preferred).
• Strong written and oral communication skills (preferred).
• Experience at a metropolitan university (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Oversees supervision of full-time staff, graduate students and student assistants including training, evaluation and development.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates student engagement and leadership resources to improve programs.
• Ensures compliance with laws and UT San Antonio policies for student activities, student conduct and risk management.
• Manages budget and fiscal accountability for the Student Involvement Center.
• Tracks and assesses student engagement and program outcomes.
• Serves on university committees and contributes to Student Affairs planning.
• Builds relationships with campus offices and professionals across the university.
