Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Director to lead the Long/Short SMA Program Office, owning strategy and cross-functional governance, reporting to the Managing Director of IOS. This role serves as the senior point of view on where the business is headed and ensures the program moves forward with disciplined execution.

You will shape growth and monetization strategy, evaluate competitive positioning, translate inputs into options for executive review, and lead a small program team across Treasury,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership in broker dealer or financial services.
• End-to-end strategic analysis and board-level materials experience.
• Strong influencing skills with executive presence.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, CFP, or other advanced credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Long/Short SMA Program Office and own ongoing program strategy.
• Shape growth ambition and monetization strategy for the SMA business.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and executive governance.
• Present analyses and options to Steering Committee and Board audiences.
