Job summary

Charles Schwab seeks a Director to lead the Long/Short SMA Program Office, shaping strategy and overseeing a cross-functional book of work. You will report to IOS leadership and provide a trusted perspective on business direction and execution.

You will drive cross-functional execution, manage a governance cadence, and align workstreams with Treasury, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Advisor Services to achieve shared outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven strategy capabilities through consulting, corporate strategy, or strategic functions within financial services.
• Experience owning end-to-end strategic analysis and materials for executive decision-making.
• Strong influencing skills with ability to drive alignment across a matrixed org.
• 10+ years as a leader in broker-dealer/asset management or top-tier consulting.
• Experience leading multi-year, cross-functional programs in large financial services firms.
• Proven ability to build and scale high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Long/Short SMA Program Office and own strategic direction and governance materials.
• Orchestrate cross-functional execution, set program plans, and surface risks for escalation.
• Chair working groups and steer committees; partner with Treasury, Ops, Tech, Risk, and Advisor Services.
