Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Director of Space and Occupancy Planning to lead occupancy planning across a specified region. You will oversee space allocation, group moves, and data-driven capacity planning while coordinating with Move Managers and CRE teams.

The role requires extensive experience in space planning, architectural drawings, and IWMS tools, with a focus on delivering efficient, data-backed solutions to clients.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of related experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a corporate team environment.
• Experience managing day-to-day service requests.
• Experience communicating with management at all levels.
• Experience reviewing architectural and engineering drawings and design concepts.
• Development of site occupancy plans for short- and long-term scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all facility space and personnel move requests to maximize space efficiency.
• Build relationships with client lines of business to understand requirements.
• Recommend improvements for efficiency, service delivery and asset utilization.
• Collaborate with Strategy, PM, Facility Management and CRE team members.
• Interface with client to develop options and finalize concepts for approval.
• Serve as primary client contact for relocations with Move Manager.
• Coordinate group moves and special requirements with Move Managers.
• Develop migration plans and sequencing of relocations.
• Organize data in formats for planning and hand off (PowerPoint, spreadsheets).
• Maintain space management data reflecting current occupancy.
