Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Director of Space and Occupancy Planning to oversee tactical occupancy planning for a regional portfolio. The role focuses on space layout options, data-driven occupancy analysis, and coordinating with Move Managers to meet client needs.

The ideal candidate will bring 7–10 years in space planning/CRE, strong Excel/AutoCAD/IWMS skills, and proven leadership in a corporate team environment. This is a full-time role with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of related experience in corporate real estate or space planning.
• Minimum 5 years in a corporate team environment.
• Experience in developing site occupancy plans for short- and long-term scenarios.
• Experience reviewing architectural and engineering drawings, concepts & design.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all facility space and personnel move requests within assigned territory to maximize space efficiencies.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with client lines of business to understand requirements.
• Makes recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, and asset utilization.
• Collaborates with Strategy, Project Management, and Facility Management teams on all efforts.
• Interfaces with Client to develop options and final documents for approval.
• Serves as primary client contact for relocation requests and coordinates with Move Manager.
