Job summary

AHIP is seeking a Director of Sales & Strategic Partnerships to drive revenue growth and expand the market presence of its Insurance Education portfolio, with emphasis on Medicare Advantage and related markets. The role requires developing strategic relationships, expanding accounts, and supporting renewals while representing AHIP across the health insurance industry.

The candidate will manage executive-level engagements, lead consultative sales initiatives, and collaborate with internal teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in business/marketing/healthcare.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships experience.
• Experience with health insurance carriers, Medicare Advantage organizations, and healthcare providers.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Excellent presentation, public speaking, writing, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to achieve revenue goals.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities with carriers and Medicare Advantage organizations.
• Build, cultivate, and maintain executive-level relationships to expand opportunities.
• Lead consultative meetings, product demonstrations, and business reviews with customers.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, renewals, sponsorships, and partnerships within approvals.
• Travel domestically as needed for conferences and customer engagements.
