Job summary

Prestigecorp seeks a seasoned land acquisition professional to drive growth in Greensboro and Raleigh markets. You will lead strategy, negotiations, and due diligence, building key relationships with landowners, brokers, and developers.

The role combines office planning with site visits and stakeholder coordination. You will mentor the acquisition team, oversee market intelligence, and ensure seamless transition from acquisition to development through collaboration with entitlements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in land acquisition, development, or real estate with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of land use planning, zoning, entitlements, and government permits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the land acquisition strategy for growth.
• Identify, evaluate, and secure high-value land opportunities via relationships with landowners, brokers, developers, and municipal partners.
• Negotiate lot sales and maintain relationships with home builders (customers).
• Oversee market research including employment trends, demographics, competition, and regional sales performance.
• Lead feasibility studies, due diligence, and preliminary land planning for viability.
• Provide strategic recommendations on land positions, entry strategies, and long-range planning.
• Direct preparation, negotiation, and execution of land acquisition agreements and related contracts.
• Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure contracts protect company interests and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and develop the Land Acquisition team; coordinate with development, finance, and construction teams.
