Job summary

Great Gray Group is seeking a Director, Strategic Implementations to lead high-profile customer implementations of our SaaS platform. You will own scoping, planning, and delivery, coordinating Product, Technology, Marketing and Onboarding teams to meet customer commitments.

You will drive complex, bespoke solutions, manage stakeholder communications, and push for quality and efficiency in a fast-growing, PE-backed environment. Hybrid Boston work model; some travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience owning complex, cross-functional, customer-facing delivery or implementations.
• 5+ years of experience managing complex and innovative SaaS technology implementations.
• Experience building bespoke solutions on top of existing SaaS technology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical literacy to read and challenge specification documents.
• Comfort engaging with sophisticated external customers.
• Willingness to travel to support customer commitments.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to bring best-practice ideas to the team.

Responsibilities

• Owns and manages end-to-end delivery of complex, customized customer implementations of SaaS technology.
• Scoping implementation requirements and establishing detailed project plans with status updates.
• Serve as the primary customer-facing owner—organizing plans, aligning stakeholders, delivering to the SOW.
• Review and challenge customer specs to ensure deliverability and quality.
• Coordinate delivery across Product, Technology, Marketing and Onboarding teams.
