Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a Director of Corporate Development to lead enterprise transformation and strategic initiatives. Reporting to the CFO, you will translate the Value Creation Plan into actionable programs with clear ownership and metrics, spanning M&A, operations, and AI-driven innovations.

This on-site role based in Bakersfield, CA offers close collaboration with senior leaders, broad exposure to the business, and incentives tied to performance as part of a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum seven (7) years in business development, strategy, operations, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic priorities into structured initiatives with ownership, timelines and measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with executives to align priorities and remove barriers for key initiatives.
• Develop and refine acquisition/divestiture strategy and target pipelines.
• Create dashboards and reporting tools to measure progress and link outcomes to performance.
• Drive accountability and execution across strategic initiatives.
