Rain for Rent in Bakersfield, CA, seeks a strategic Vice President of Information Technology to guide strategy and execution across all IT functions, including data integrity, AI, security, ERP, and application development. This on-site leadership role manages a broad portfolio and drives digital transformation aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• Provide overall management and definition of all technology and communication activities within US and international locations.
• Provide leadership in day-to-day operations of IT functions and serve as go-to technology leader for executives and business leaders.
• Manage vendor performance and relationships across a large portfolio (100+ vendors), including negotiating contracts, SLAs, and scorecards.
• Implement ITAM tooling and reporting for real-time visibility into licenses, renewals, usage, and cost drivers.
• Provide direction on organizational growth through internal growth or external acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CFO and business leaders to lead the Organization's digital transformation.
• Own and be accountable for IT/IS annual technology budget (~$12.1M) and 32-member team.
• Build and lead IS function focused on BI, automation, data quality, and customer experience.
• Lead technology strategy with roadmap, cybersecurity, and emerging tech.
• Ensure IT projects align with business goals and deliver value.
