Job summary

Lundbeck seeks a Director of State Government Affairs to lead strategy and advocacy across northeastern states, aligning with corporate priorities and patient access goals.

You will build strategic relationships with governors’ offices, legislators, regulators, and trade associations while guiding engagement on policy, reimbursement, and launches. Travel up to 60% domestically is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute state government affairs strategies for assigned states.
• Monitor and assess proposed state legislation and policy developments impacting Lundbeck.
• Evaluate proposals and recommend actions to leadership and stakeholders.
• Direct lobbying and advocacy with state legislators, regulators, and governors’ offices.
• Build and maintain relationships with elected officials, regulators, and industry groups.
• Coordinate activities with internal teams to ensure consistent engagement on priority issues.
