Job summary
CesiumAstro, a leader in space and aerospace communications, seeks a Director of Business Capture to direct major pursuits with U.S. Government and defense clients. You will establish capture strategy, guide cross‑functional teams, and optimize win probability across the pipeline.
You will partner with BD, engineering, contracts, and finance to translate customer needs into differentiated capture plans, while ensuring compliance and strategic growth for the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field with 11–15 years of experience.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in business capture or related function.
- Expert knowledge of capture management and federal procurement processes.
- Expertise in capture strategy development, opportunity qualification, and customer engagement planning.
- Advanced proficiency with CRM tools and business intelligence platforms.
Responsibilities
- Direct the Business Capture function by establishing objectives and priorities aligned with growth targets.
- Lead multiple strategic capture efforts and allocate resources across opportunities.
- Evaluate pipeline health, resource utilization, and pursuit performance to drive improvements.
- Develop capture strategies, customer engagement plans, and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with BD, sales, engineering, contracts, and executive leadership to shape opportunities.
- Represent the function in executive reviews and strategic planning sessions.
