CesiumAstro is seeking a Director, Solutions/Conceptual Design to lead the end-to-end technical solutions for new opportunities and strategic pursuits. You will direct a team of Communication Systems Architects who combine deep domain expertise with broad systems knowledge to define differentiated, technically credible solutions.

• Bachelors in Electrical, Computer, Systems, Aerospace, Telecommunications or related field with 11–15 years in communication systems.
• Master's degree with 9–12 years; or PhD with 7–10 years in related engineering.
• 5+ years technical leadership in system architecture or equivalent roles.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and end‑to‑end architectures spanning multiple engineering disciplines.
• Advanced expertise in at least one communications domain (RF, antennas, DSP, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Build and lead a high‑performing team of Communications Systems Architects for complete technical solutions.
• Ensure each pursuit has a technical architect accountable end‑to‑end.
• Translate mission objectives into differentiated system solutions with customers.
• Lead architecture trades across antennas, RF, processing, firmware, software, networking.
• Assess opportunities and establish the technical strategy to win.
• Ensure proposed architectures and analyses form a credible solution.
• Drive system requirements, interfaces, and verification approaches.
• Identify recurring customer needs to influence product roadmaps.
• Balance performance, cost, risk, and manufacturability in architectures.
• Collaborate with Product Development & Assurance to plan program execution.
• Ensure smooth transition from pursuit to execution with clear requirements.
• Establish architecture standards and decision frameworks.
• Mentor architects to develop technical and business judgment.
