DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Director of Construction to lead the Project Delivery team for a mid-Atlantic solar portfolio. The role is remote within the U.S. with up to 50% travel to project sites and DEPCOM offices as needed.

You will oversee large-scale solar project execution from inception to completion, mentor construction leaders, and drive safety, schedule, cost, and quality. Strong PBM-driven leadership and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Construction experience developing and leading teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with varying scopes and deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Proficient with project management software.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget development and cost control.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Direct and lead the execution of a portfolio of utility-scale solar projects, ensuring alignment with safety, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
• Provide strategic oversight and guidance to portfolio construction leaders on contracting strategy, subcontractor and self-perform execution models, schedule risk management, and proactive mitigation of critical path constraints to optimize portfolio performance.
• Lead and develop the team by applying learned PBM frameworks to deepen knowledge, strengthen understanding, and drive value creation.
• Drive operational and quality excellence by fostering a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive financial stewardship and risk management by supporting budget development, monitoring project expenditures, mitigating operational risks, and ensuring compliance.
• Ensure transparent and effective communication with leadership and stakeholders by providing regular updates on project performance, risks, challenges, and opportunities.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices; propose and implement innovative strategies to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
