Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineering Solutions company, is seeking a Director of Construction to join the Project Delivery team for the Mid-Atlantic portfolio. This role can be based remotely within the U.S.

with 50% travel to project sites and the DEPCOM office as needed. The Director will oversee the successful execution of multiple large-scale solar energy projects from inception through completion, with a strong focus on project and construction management, team leadership, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Construction experience leading teams
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Outlook and Excel
• Proficient with project management software
• Strong financial acumen with budget development and cost control
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead the execution of a portfolio of utility-scale solar projects, ensuring safety, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
• Provide strategic oversight on contracting strategy, subcontractor/self-perform models, and risk management to optimize portfolio performance.
• Lead and develop the team using PBM frameworks, mentoring direct reports and fostering growth.
• Drive safety, environmental stewardship, accountability, and continuous improvement with robust quality standards.
• Support budget development, monitor expenditures, mitigate risks, and ensure regulatory compliance to maximize value.
• Provide regular updates on project performance, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends and implement innovative strategies to improve project delivery and efficiency.
