Job summary

Manhattan University seeks a Director of Slate Technology and Data Analytics to lead enrollment technology, data analytics, and reporting—driving governance, automation, and strategic insights for recruitment, admission, yield, and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, data analytics, computer science, business, or related field.
• 5+ years administering Slate or comparable enterprise CRM in higher education, including configuration, workflows, reporting, permissions, and integrations.
• Proficient in SQL and relational data concepts; able to build dashboards in Slate and a BI platform such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience integrating CRM with Banner, financial aid, applications, marketing, and analytics via APIs, web services, or middleware.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, access management, privacy, information security, FERPA, and change-control practices.
• Ability to translate enrollment strategy into scalable technical solutions and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated commitment to Manhattan University’s Lasallian Catholic mission and ethical data use.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Slate administrator and product owner for enrollment-related functionality, including strategy, governance, configuration, release management, testing, and optimization.
• Design and maintain applications, forms, portals, events, workflows, and other Slate capabilities supporting diverse student populations.
• Maintain a prioritized CRM roadmap aligned with Strategic Enrollment Management targets and resources.
• Establish deployment, testing, quality-assurance, change-control, and rollback practices to protect continuity during recruitment periods.
• Monitor Slate updates (including Slate AI) and evaluate value, data readiness, privacy, accessibility, and security before adoption.
• Lead enrollment data governance with definitions, ownership, quality standards, and access controls.
• Develop dashboards and reports; support forecasting, scenario planning, and resource allocation for multiple student populations.
• Present findings to leadership and ensure clear communication of limitations and data quality.
• Lead cross-functional governance and staff development; supervise CRM/analytics staff and manage budgets.
