Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Lead for strategic communications to oversee U.S. Human Health manufacturing site communications, coordinating global, regional, and local engagement.

You will manage a team of site communicators, drive integrated strategies, and handle high-visibility issues with media and community relations. Collaboration with HR, EHS, and Quality is essential to support change and measure impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications or related field.
• 8+ years in pharma/healthcare or regulated industries.
• Proven crisis and issues management skills.
• Experience in multi-site or global environments.

Job description

Role:

Lead strategic communications for U.S. Human Health manufacturing sites, supporting global, regional, and local stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of four site communicators, develop integrated communication strategies aligned with business priorities, handle high-visibility issues (e.g., safety incidents, regulatory matters), and coordinate external media and community relations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (HR, EHS, Quality) to support change management, talent initiatives, and site milestones; ensure compliance with regulations, and measure communication effectiveness through KPIs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Communications, PR, Journalism, or related field;
• 8+ years in pharma/healthcare/regulated industries, with experience in multi-site or global environments;
• Proven crisis and issues management skills;
• Strong stakeholder influence and strategic thinking.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or supply chain in pharma;
• Familiarity with US and local regulations;
• Ability to lead virtual, cross-cultural teams.
