Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Lead for strategic communications to oversee U.S. Human Health manufacturing site communications, coordinating global, regional, and local engagement.

You will manage a team of site communicators, drive integrated strategies, and handle high-visibility issues with media and community relations. Collaboration with HR, EHS, and Quality is essential to support change and measure impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications or related field.
• 8+ years in pharma/healthcare or regulated industries.
• Proven crisis and issues management skills.
• Experience in multi-site or global environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of four site communicators and develop integrated communication strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Handle high-visibility issues (e.g., safety incidents, regulatory matters) and coordinate external media and community relations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (HR, EHS, Quality) to support change management, talent initiatives, and site milestones; ensure regulatory compliance and measure KPIs.
