Merck & Co., Inc. seeks a Director of Site Communications for U.S. Human Health Manufacturing.

This leadership role oversees communications strategy across all U.S. manufacturing sites, including Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia and Delaware, to support business objectives, engagement and reputation. The position partners with senior leaders, HR, EHS, Quality and regulatory teams to ensure alignment with global priorities, drive change, and manage external communications with communities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business or related field required

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of four U.S. HH site communicators across PA, NC, VA, DE
• Lead high-visibility, sensitive communications and collaborate with senior leaders, corporate affairs and legal
• Develop integrated communications strategies for U.S. Human Health sites aligned with global priorities
• Coordinate external communications with local media, community and stakeholders
• Manage crisis communications and prepare localized messaging in multiple languages
