Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Director of Security Programs to lead and advance corporate security initiatives for its data center operations. You will partner with senior leadership, manage a diverse team, and guide security strategies across executive, physical, and personnel security domains.

You will oversee access control, video surveillance, incident response, and third-party compliance programs, while coordinating with Legal, Compliance and Operations to protect assets and people.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of progressive security leadership experience
• 5+ years leading enterprise-level physical security programs
• Experience in data centers, telecommunications, technology, or related industries
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar security budgets
• Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, PMP, CISM, or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the security program operations and effectiveness
• Advise senior management on security, crisis management and business integrity
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Drive corporate security strategies including executive, personnel and physical security
• Oversee access control infrastructure and VMS systems
• Develop security awareness training for employees and contractors
• Ensure compliance with security SOPs and regulatory requirements
• Manage security vendor relationships and bid processes
• Lead security incident investigations and remediation actions
• Maintain industry knowledge through conferences and courses
• Oversee the Security Program Team budget
• Promote CoreSite's culture and values
