Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Director of Security Programs to lead corporate security initiatives across our data centers. You will guide security strategy, drive executive protection, and oversee physical security, access control, and surveillance technologies.

This role requires collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to align risk management with business goals. The position emphasizes strong leadership, a proactive security posture, and the ability to manage budgets and vendor

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive security leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading enterprise-level physical security programs.
• Experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, telecommunications, technology, or related industries.
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar security budgets.
• Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, PMP, CISM, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and improve the security program across the organization.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior management on security, crisis management and integrity.
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and with external agencies and partners.
• Drive corporate security strategies including executive, personnel, and physical security.
• Oversee access control infrastructure, including hardware, software, and video monitoring.
