Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree a plus.
• 7-10 years' experience in an operational and technical security environment.
• 3-5 years' experience in a people manager role.
• EMT or other relevant certifications (CPP, CFE, CBCP) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Effectively leads a team of security representatives and supervisors in one or more locations.
• Ensures schedule maintains required coverage while remaining mindful of staffing costs and overtime.
• Enforces corporate and site-wide policies, procedures, and standards related to operational risk, physical security, and life safety programs.
• Establishes and maintains substantial relationships with business unit personnel, site leadership and external service providers such as public safety agencies to influence security policy implementation and mitigate risk.
• Translates strategic objectives and champions training and life safety programs for their site.
• Engages on cross-organizational projects and scales global initiatives for assigned site(s).
• Builds, implements, and maintains regional crisis response plans in collaboration with site leadership.
• Develops and Delivers effective local awareness programs and supports broader global security awareness initiatives crafted to educate associates on workplace safety and security best practices.
• Review regional incident reports; recommend and supervise required follow up.
