Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Director of Security Architecture to establish and evolve our security architecture strategy across the organization. You will lead governance, standards, and solution design to enable secure, scalable technology, reporting to the VP of Information Security & Risk.

The role requires embedding security into the development lifecycle, guiding technology investments, and ensuring architecture decisions align with risk and enterprise GTBS strategies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or information security.
• Deep expertise in security architecture frameworks and secure design principles.
• Experience with regulatory requirements like NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
• Proven leadership and ability to oversee architecture reviews and secure solution development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the enterprise security architecture strategy and governance.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards and implementation guidelines.
• Oversee architecture review processes and ensure risk requirements are addressed.
• Embed security requirements early in the development lifecycle and guide investments.
