Job summary

Zelis is modernizing the healthcare financial experience across payers, providers, and consumers. The Director, Data Platforms & Tooling will own the Snowflake platform engineering, CI/CD for data, and platform governance across multiple environments.

This is a builder-leader role focused on production-grade, secure, scalable data foundation, with responsibility for architecture, security, and cost governance in a hybrid US-based setup.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data platform / data engineering with leadership
• Deep Snowflake platform architecture experience at enterprise scale
• Strong DevOps / CI/CD / IaC for data platforms like Terraform, dbt

Responsibilities

• Own Snowflake platform architecture, scalability, and roadmap across data warehouse, data lake, and Data Sharing
• Build and own the data DevOps stack: VCS, CI/CD for Snowflake/dbt, IaC, secrets management
• Define and enforce governance, security, PHI/DLP guardrails
• Lead platform engineering, tooling, and release-engineering function
• Enable Cortex AI/Relational AI workloads with governed access to semantic layers
