Job summary

AEVEX is seeking a Director, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting to lead SEC filings, complex research, and policy development. You will partner with Finance, Legal, Investor Relations, and auditors to ensure accurate disclosures and timely close.

The role requires deep US GAAP knowledge, experience with 10-K/10-Q/8-K, and the ability to draft technical memos, implement new standards, and provide training across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA required.
• 10+ years’ public company or Big Four accounting with SEC reporting exposure.
• Experience with ASC 606/842/805/718 and discl. management and XBRL.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and related disclosures.
• Perform technical accounting research and draft memoranda on complex transactions.
• Develop accounting policies, SOX controls, and cross-functional training.
• Partner with FP&A, Legal, and external auditors on external reporting.
