Job summary

Henry County Schools in Georgia seeks a Director of School Improvement to lead district-wide efforts aligned with Title I priorities. You will partner with the Assistant Superintendent and school leaders to drive CSIPs, monitor progress, and translate data into actionable improvements.

This exempt, full-time role requires a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a proven background in school improvement, coaching, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; Georgia Educator certificate in Educational Leadership preferred.
• Minimum of three years of successful school administrative experience; leadership or improvement experience preferred.
• Ability to work well with teachers, school teams, and district leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Assistant Superintendent and district leaders to align school improvement priorities with instructional practices and student outcomes.
• Support principals and leadership teams in CSIPs and Title I budgets, ensuring alignment to district priorities.
• Provide differentiated, high-level support to Title I and federally identified schools.
• Collaborate across divisions to strengthen job-embedded support and ensure alignment and responsiveness.
• Design and implement instructional walkthrough processes and feedback systems.
• Analyze multiple data sources to identify trends and monitor progress.
• Facilitate continuous improvement cycles, including data reviews and follow-up actions.
• Identify and leverage external consultants and partners to deliver targeted supports.
