Job summary

FCCBH seeks a Director of Project AWARE to provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for a comprehensive school behavioral health initiative. You will supervise staff, manage federal grant activities, ensure SAMHSA compliance, and coordinate with school districts, families, and community partners.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and experience leading school-based behavioral health programs, with strong budgeting and evaluation skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field is required/preferred.
• Clinical licensure or provisional licensure preferred.
• Experience leading school-based behavioral health programs and supervising multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience managing grant-funded programs and conducting program evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise LEA Project Managers and monitor district implementation.
• Coordinate Project AWARE Advisory Board meetings and activities.
• Monitor fidelity across the three-tier framework.
• Oversee SAMHSA SPARS performance reporting.
• Manage the Project AWARE budget and expenditures.
• Coordinate grant activities and communications with SAMHSA.
• Lead sustainability planning for Project AWARE services.
• Ensure compliance with grant requirements and agency standards.
• Oversee program fiscal operations and monthly financial reports.
• Develop and monitor program outcomes and drive improvements.
