Job summary

Vibrant Emotional Health is seeking a Director, Grant Management to lead federal grant activities and oversee SAMHSA-funded 988 Lifeline initiatives. The role directs pre- and post-award processes, budgeting, reporting, and compliance across Finance, Program, Operations, and Grants Management teams.

The position requires extensive experience with federal funding, strong leadership, and strategic oversight to ensure audit readiness and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressively responsible professional experience managing federal grants
• Experience managing post-award compliance for federally funded programs
• Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning, outreach, and cross-functional work
• Experience overseeing budgeting, reporting, procurement, and post-award compliance

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of 988 federal grant management, including responses to funder requests, reporting, and tracking of grant deliverables
• Lead pre-award planning, organization, budget preparation, and post-award administration and closeout
• Manage the grants team to ensure SAMHSA and Uniform Guidance compliance
• Oversee day-to-day operations across Finance, Operations, Program, and Grants Management teams
• Oversee invoices, procurement, and contract activities tied to federal grants
• Prepare and submit federal reports to SAMHSA
• Align grant strategy with budgets and organizational policies
• Maintain audit readiness and address compliance risks promptly
